I have a set of Logitech Z-5500 surround sound speakers hooked up to this Audigy2 ZS. (normal, not platinum) The card has a digital out, but it's a minijack, not optical. The speakers have a optical input, and I wanted to use this so I could have DTS decoding. So I had to get a pretty specific cable with a minijack on one end and fiber optic on the other. BUT after connecting the cable, the speakers can't find the input. What am I doing wrong?

there's an digital coax input too...you don't need to convert the signal to an optical one...just use an coax cable from your soundcard to your control pod.
