hi all
i recently bought a new system. I have a onkyo 901 with polk audio rm 20 and polk rt8. Do i really need an eq? my friends told me it would sound better with an eq. thanks |

It depends. I like everything "original". Having a eq would certainly distort the music as any filtering system ultimately damage the signal path. Polks are on the bright side. Match eletronics carefully. |

All eq's will add some amount of distortion to the original signal. That said I would avoid them.Like David said match speakers and components carefully. E.Ramsey |
