I tried them, they are excellent. The only one concern I have is poor bass. Can you recommend anything similar but with better bass? I would appreciate your advice.

the MartinLogan Mosaic will give you all around better sound. Having a planar midrange as well as tweeter, these will sing like you won't believe, ESECIALLY if you like the highs on the montage, which only has a planar tweeter. The other difference is that the mosaic has an 8 inch woofer, bigger than the twin drivers on the montage. Even though the twins may seem like a better idea, the mosaic has a higher excursion, letting it play deeper and louder. You will get a MUCH better speaker for only $500 more than the montage I have heard the Mosaic, and when broken in, it is a mellow, seductive speaker that sucks you in in ways that will be very noticible, ESPECIALLY in imaging. |
