I have a NAD 3140 that is, after 20+ years, giving me some problems -- one channel drops out occasionally, EQ switch no longer works properly, etc. Should I spend the $$ to get this fixed (no idea how much that would be yet) or just give up and spring for a new amp?

NAD C352. Wait another couple of months might be able to get one under $500. I'll be on the fence with you to keep you company.

I went the fix route. $138 got the channel fixed, switches cleaned to eliminate static, EQ button now works again, plus all 3 indicator lights on the front panel now work (2 have been out for 15 years). Almost went for a reconditioned C370 but opted for the cheap way out...
