I just got a pioneer pl d12 turntable off ebay for a decent price, and when I got it in, I noticed it has a ground wire. First, is this an essential hookup, or is it optional. Second, I have a pioneer vsx 1014 receiver, and there isn't an explicit turntable ground on it, so if I do have to ground it, would I hook it up to the am antenna ground? Thanks.
