Whats the big differences between the two amps without suggesting I go to my local dealer to have a listen.
I am guessing the NAD gives a more 'bass like' sound all round.
Thanks

Nad aren't famed for a particularly powerful bass, more a 'fast' well-timed bottom end. I've owned several of their amps and can confirm this. Both amps you mention are of the warm, British type and are very nice. In this instance the Nad is a better amp in my opinion and has better bass control. Neither has earth-shuddering bass though, you'll have to spend more money than the bottom of the range Nad if that's what you're after.
