I am torn between a Polk-R50 and an Energy C-5. Which one should I get but i'm leaning towards the polk's. Please advice...

I like the Energy better - if you want to get polk, RT series or Lsi are their upper models and sound better. I think the Energy sounds better.

I agree with James. Go with the Energy's. I have a pair of C9's up front, and C3's as my back surrounds. I love these speakers. They have a kind of a laid back sound, never harsh or tiring. Great midrange. I had originally brought home a pair of C7's. They sounded good but a little thin for my taste so I went with the C9's.
