Hello, I have a pair of AT15 Cerwin Vega speakers that are 4 ohm. Can anyone recommend a reciever to drive them? I had them hooked up to an 8 ohm receiver in the past, and I know they never put out the sound they are capable of. I am not savy in this area, so any advice given would be most certainly appreciated. Spyder |

http://www.audioholics.com/FAQs/4-ohmspeakersreceiver.php In short, any high(er) end receiver from the various mass market companies (Denon, Yamaha, etc.) should do the trick. |

Hey Spyder, Im not familiar with the AT15s, but I have a set of old CV D-9s that are listed as being rated at 4-8ohms. I drive them with a new Yamaharx-v2500 and they do extremely well. I have no clue about the AT15s though. You have a link with info on them?? I tried to google them up, and couldnt find much info. Im a little curious what they are. From the looks of the model number, I think they're probably similar. |
