Hi,
I'm going to replace my Denon. My choice is Marantz SR5500/SR4500 or Yamaha RX-V750/RX-V650. Can anybody help me to choose which one is better for my Wharfedale. (Movie 50% and mucis 50%).

I personally like the Yamaha, but it's about personal preference. I never thought much of Marantz. I think Marantz is a shadow of what it once was before they were bought out. I know nothing though, so take it with a grain of salt.
Marantz owners will say otherwise. You will have to look at the features and perceived quality and get whichever impresses you most. |

I'm on the same boat...I'm considering Yamaha RX-V750, Marantz SR5500 and Denon AVR-2105. Pardon my ignorance, but it looks like Marantz SR5500 doesn't have bass management, will it be a big disadvantage over the others? |
