I am 16 years old and am looking for a good but cheap powered sub for my home theater system. Right now I am leaning towards buying the sony SA-WX700 which I heard has alot of bang for the buck but i am also looking at the Cerwin-Vega CLSC-15S 15" which I also have heard alot of great things about. The only problem is I dont really have alot of money so Im not wanting to spend over $300 on one of these. also im not looking for something that is meant for low volume. I want a sub that you can really feel. Any help would be great. Thanks! |

I bought a yamaha think the model number is 215 about a year ago. it's an 8" speaker 150watts 150bucks (at the time). Sounded pretty good for my living room 15 x 18. I have since moved on but for the price and the fact that i needed a sub at the time it fit the bill. |

I got a Velodyne VRP-1000 for $162 from Overstock.com. Superb sound and build quality for the price. But when I placed the order, the inventory was low. |
