I want to do whole house audio. If the speakers that I'm thinking of buying are 8-ohms, how many can I install on one receiver? Also, how important is the frequency response range of speakers? JBL has a pair of 2-way, 8", 120w in-wall spaekers. The freq. response range is 30Hz-20kHz. Am I going wrong by buying these speakers for this type of application? Thanks

It depends on how you hook them up.

"how important is the frequency response range of speakers?"

It is not important.

"Am I going wrong by buying these speakers for this type of application?"

Probably not.
