Only time I get sound is when I turn the 575 all the way up and it is heard faintly in the main speakers. No setting have been changed and all cables are plugged in correctly. Sometimes it works most of the time is does not. The LCD works fine only no sound. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try to reset? I don't know about your model, but to reset my box is: press and hold CD
button until test is displayed, and during 5 secunds that test is being displayed you have to unplug it. Plug it back in and you're good as new.
