I had previously posted on this subject and received no feedback. So who knows what could make a subwoofer make a constant humming. All the wiring is done properly and it is all plugged in to a clean power surge protector. It is a sony receiver and Wharfedale surround sound speakers. Any suggestions?

Is your subwoofer cable shielded? Perhaps, testing on different cable and see...

I had to convert my 3 prong plug to a 2 prong and it stopped.
