Hi, I have 4 year old Panasonic Mini System... an SA-AK18.

I recently discovered some older West German (yep, that old) speakers sitting in the basement. My parents used to use them with their old component system (and I remember them sounding good), but have since upgraded their system. So, I potentially have two better speakers at my disposal.

Now, I was wondering if it would be safe (ie. wouldn't screw up my minisystem) for me to use these better speakers? The speakers my system is currently using run at 6 ohms, and the ones sitting in the basement run at 4 ohms. Both sets of speakers have a power rating of 50 watts.

Thanks!

The 4 ohm speakers can cause your system to get overloaded...
