How can you get a tad of briteness out of a center speaker. B&W cc6 with a Denon2805 if thats helps.

Interesting. I thought that speaker was a bit dull and less crisp than it's precessors. Anyway, some tricks are to hang a piece of tissue paper in front of the tweeter or I've even seen people suspend a ping pong ball in front of it. Another possibility may be to aim the tweeter up or down from the listening position so you're off axis from the tweeter.
