A friend of mine is looking for a new receiver to match her Bose speakers. Does anyone think a Denon receiver will match with the Bose, or can you recommend a different brand of receiver? How about a Yamaha receiver? Anyone?

I would definitly go with a Yamaha. I personally have two complete Yamaha and Bose systems and they sound pretty awsome, contrary to most peoples opinions on Bose. I'll advise her to go with the RXV series as opposed to HTR, they have a higher build quality.

BTW what models from Bose does she have, It will give me an idea of what reciever would best suit them.
