My HK keeps switching itself off automatically whenever I have it on for more than an hour or so. Lately it has gotten to the point where I can't even watch a movie on it. What causes this/what can I do to remedy the problem?

(it is hooked up to infinity interlude speakers if that has anything to do with it but the wattage shouldn't be a problem)

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Gooser, I had the same problem with mine when I first bought it - HK replaced it immediately. This is not an uncommon problem and probably has nothing to do with your speakers. If you look through the posts, you will find more than a few people who have had the same problem with their HK receiver and got is replaced by HK. I hope you are under the one year warranty the part comes with. If yes, then you should have no problems getting a replacement.
Good luck!
