i hoked upmy ipod to formatt it but 2 hours later the ipod say dont diconnect, the computer says waiting for ipod i tried to un do by going to the safly remove hardware icon but it says try again later what do i do?

Turn off computer, then remove the iPod. Turn on computer, then see if you need to update the iTunes software.
