ok so i was listing to my cd thru my dvd player at moderate levels...and all a suden my reciever (poineer vsx-D511) shuts off and reads "amp err" and doesnt turn back on for another min or so and then its on for a sec and does the same thing. no sound when its back on. i tired disconnecting everything in the back but it didnt make a difference. PLEASE HELP!

you might have put the reciever into protection mode. check for shorts in your wiring. or u might have been pusing the amp at its border for too long. just suggestions.

as of right now it is sitting in my room with the cover off (no warranty anymore) and the fuses look good..i also tried to run it without all the wireing..thanks for the sujections...keep em' coming
