I have a Pioneer Integrated Set. It has 6 ohms output impedence. Two speaker boxes each with total impedence of 6 ohms is supplied along with it.

Now I have two more speakers each of 4 ohms impedence.

Can anyone help me in connecting/adding these two 4 ohms speakers without detaching the 6 ohms speakers?

Joe

You should hook them up in a series, to get a 10 ohm impedance. It would be better for the receiver than the 3. something ohms you would get by hooking them up in parallel. You won't get as much power out of your amp, but it won't damage it like a load under 4 ohms would damage your receiver.

or buy a speaker switch
