Just curious as to what some of you afficionados think about Boston Acoustics speakers, specifically the VR-M60 model. I haven't seen them mentioned in very many posts.

I'm not a person who spends a lot of time listening and comparing but I was quite impressed when I heard the VR-M60s. I'm looking for something smaller in size but with adequate bass for (stereo) music listening without a subwoofer (a classic dilemma). They seemed to deliver that extremely well for such a small enclosure.

I heard them side-by-side with B&W 602s and the Bostons won the comparison hands-down, at least for my taste. In all fairness, the Bostons are more expensive, but the bass was unquestionably superior and the sound just seemed more natural overall.

I was really gassed by such sound from those little guys to the point where I was tempted to throw my credit card down on the counter and take them. But I still haven't heard any Paradigms, so a little restraint was in order.
