I have had this turntable for about 10 years without using it and when i got it out to put it to use i found the belt would not stay on the wheel at 33 rpm. It seems the plate is too high for the wheel at 33 rpm.
sorry if my query is not very well explained technically but i could really use some help. thanks

when i got it out to put it to use i found the belt would not stay on the motor pulley (wheel) at 33 rpm. It seems the inner platter(plate) is too high for the wheel at 33 rpm causing the belt to come of the inner platter
