I feel like a fool. I am very happy with my Amp (I have had it over a year now) - a Denon 3803 - but I not been able, after several attempts, to get my two speakers systems to both work.

Although I was hoping when I got the system that I might be able to have the amp powering both the TV with my surround sound system in one room while simultaneously planning an audio CD to other speakers in another room, I would be satisfied to JUST be able to get "other room speakers" to operate at all.

Here is the setup:
Room 1
Denon 3803 connected to a Surround sound system

Room 2
Two speakers

I have connected the two speakers in room 2 to the "Zone 2" connectors in the back and the only thing I could ever get out of them was what sounded like audio intened for the "Sur Back" speakers. I find it hard to picture that this system is incapable of a simple "A" and "B" speaker switch over that my old low-wnd system could do... but I am apparently pretty dense.

Any help would be appreciated.
