What's the consensus on the SubSonic 7 sub? Did PSB discontinue it because it doesn't perform well?

I have PSB Stratus Silveri's for front speakers and Stratus c6i center. My room is 17 x 20 and I'm thinkin the SubSonic 7 would be better a better choice than the Subsonic 6i, but am interested in peoples opinions.
