I have a pair of klh 9250b speakers and was wondering if it would be ok to replace the stock 12inch woofers that they came with and in its place, 12 inch car audio woofers rated at 4ohms each. would it hurt the speaker or my amp, which is a pioneer vsx-d412 thatis rated to handle between 8-16 Ohms. the speakers are rated at 87 Ohms stock.

which speakers are 8ohms? the 9250's? And the car speakers are 4 ohms? Personally I don't think I would do it, it will change the overall load the amp sees when it is hooked up.
