i purchased a b&w powered sub (asw600) a month ago and purchased a marantz integrated amp last night....

1. the guys at the stereo shoppe told me to go from my processor out jack on the receiver to the line in on the woofer then back out of the line out on the woofer to the processor in jack on the receiver. i maintain my volume control on the woofer but now it sounds "muddy" and i can't turn the volume on the woofer past 1/4.

2. also, when i turn the volume on the receiver past 1/4 the speakers shut off briefly and the woofer stays on.

any help with these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
