I have paradigm studio 60 series front speaker and compatible centre and sorround speakers.

I am using yamaha rxv 650 receiver .

I feel i am not able to get maximum output from receiver. The volume starts only when it reaches -40 dB.
If somebody can tell me the reason or some adjustments.

Sunil,

The RXV650 should be able to give you enough power to reach decent spl levels.

Have you calibrated your system yet? Calibration involves adjusting the levels on all your speakers so they are all at reference level. You can get a radio shack spl meter (analog or digital) and AVIA calibration disc.
