Thread: What amp or pre/pro or integrated amp do you use for B&W 805N? |

Are you satisfied with it? I wanted to setup a stereo listening room using B&W 805 and i'm thinking the Rotel, Rega, Arcam, Classe or Marantz will do the best job driving them. However, when it comes to cost/performance don't you think that the Rotel is best? |

B&W 805 are good speakers, so if you want Rotel - you need at least 1070 series pre/amp.
But I think it's not a best choice for these speakers - they may sound better then these pre/amp.
I can suggest NAD Silver (S300 or S100/S200) as an option - IMHO it's better then above Rotel setup.
But you have to listen yourselves - it's not a cheap choice, so trust your feelings at first 
P.S. If you want to hear some real options - tell your budget. |
