I have been looking for speakers which will meet my liking of 70's/80's rock music and at the same time meet my HT setup as well. The choices now are Definitive BP7006 or JBL Northridge E90 or Paradigm Monitor 7. I really liked the definitive bi polar even though it is expensive than other models. If feel it has some tight bass and a good mid-range compared to others. The built in powered sub-woofer could save some bucks by not investing in a separate sub-woofer. I would appreciate if someone could help with your experience in any one of these speakers. My worry is also that packing everything in a slender tower could affect performance unlike the traditional boxes with separate subs.
