I have found both of these speakers at just under $600 dollars, which is the roof of my price range, but am unsure of which to get, and which would sound better with my Adcom 555 amp, and I am unfortunately not gonna get a chance to try either of them out. I trust the infinitys more and they seem to be pretty good speakers http://www.infinitysystems.com/homeaudio/product_detail.aspx?prod=BETA40BK but the JBL e-100s have two 10 inch woofers as opposed to 6 1/2 inch woofers, which makes me think that their sound would most likely be better http://www.jbl.com/home/products/product_detail.asp?ProdId=E100 TIA for the help

bigger speakers doesnt mean better sound. you will probably get better sound from the infinity, though people say good stuff about JBL. I would go with the infinity, thats just me though |

I have listened to the infinity beta50 and the jbl e100.I decided on the jbl's.The beta 50's are a little heavier but the sound of the jbl's won me over. Both are good in my opinion. Price wise they are about the same. |
