any one have any experiance with the e-100s or the JBL northridge series in general? How is their sound, and how is the bass?

smooth highs and tight but sometimes boomy bass. theyre good for the money

I second. That but the highs might get harsh depending on the receiver you have the speakers connected up to.

I have heard the E-60's and the E-80's

The E-60's sound bad and lack very much in quality.

The E-80's sound decent, but have smaller woofers than the E-60's so there is a major hole in the bass.

Some people have commented on the E-100's, might want to check it out.
