hey guuys.

i presently have a pair of diamond 8.4 and diamond center with some old pair of speakers for surrounds. now i am planning to buy the def tech prosub100tl( by the way, i have a yamaha RX-v450 and harman kardon dvd30). i was thinking whether i could go for another pair of diamond 8.4s for surrounds and forget about the sub.

please give me your opinions.

It would be Wharfedales for me any day.But then it depends on your ears.

I would go for the Diamonds 8.1 for my rear channels and add a sub woofer. After all 5.1 has to have a Active sub to get it right
