Hi,
Every so often, my subwoofer, makes a "passing gas" noise (aka f*rt). Is that normal or is there a problem?

The Jensen subwoofers models JPS8, JPS10, and JPS12 all have this f arting problem. I know it because several friends of mine bought them due to the dirt cheap prices. Audiovox/Jensen doesn't officially acknowledge the problem but their tech services would "check & fix" it if you send the amp to them. If your is also a Jensen, check www.audiovox.com website for tech service contact info. Without this problem, those subs would have been excellent subs for the money because they sound very good and cost very little. |

LOL...Yep, I have the Jensen JPS modea, and yep, bought it because it was cheap and i didn't want to spend a lot of money at this point. Thanks for the information!! |
