I have the HK AVR 235 powering the complete Athena audition series speakers with a pinnacle ac-100 sub that I just purchased. No matter what I set the crossover too on the speakers, in certain movie scenes the speakers themselves sound better than the speakers with sub on. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of why this would be or if there are any suggestions on to why this is happening.
