Ever since I came back from Christmas break I've noticed an annoyance about my T742 that I don't recall noticing before. I should also mention that the unit was unplugged the whole time and nobody else was home to screw with it.

My setup consists of a T742 receiver connected to an xbox via a toslink cable. When the sound source switches to Dolby Digital be it a game or DVD movie it lets out a nasty "ZAP" sound.

Most receivers out there tend to momentarily mute the volume for a second while the unit switches to Dolby Digital just for this very reason. I can swear that mine used to do that aswell.

I tried contacting NAD via email and didn't receive a reply. I'm hoping that somebody out there knows just what key combination will reset this receiver and hopefully fix this annoying problem.

Thanks in advance!
