Can anyone help recommend an excellent center channel to add to my existing front channel speakers which are a brand that would not be well recognized by the general population. The front channel speakers are from a company called "Precise" designed by an American manufacturer probably more than 10 years ago. The gentleman who created this speaker line was a well known designer but whose product did not do well enough for him to continue manufacturing speakers. I cannot remember his name but I do like the product.
I would like to stay with these speakers for my front channels, but would like to upgrade my center channel and surrounds.
My other equipment is a Marantz SR8200 receiver, a Denon 2200 universal dvd player, Dish satelite and an older rear projection tv that has only S video (I will upgrade this at a later time). Currently I am using smaller bookshelf speakers from the same line (Precise) for both my center and surrounds.
