Over the past few months, I have read many favorable (and a few negative) reviews of these two comparably-priced receivers. Receiver chosen will likely be driving Monitor Audio Bronze B-2, BFX combo, or Ascend CBM-170's. My best guess is about 60/40 movies to music.
All thoughts and/or suggestions would be much-appreciated. |

Actually walkeye I'm looking to upgrade to the VSX-54TX. It has been my experience that Pioneer, and especially the Elite line, outperform anything in their price range. |
