I've gooten a lot of great speaker suggestions on here but am a bit perplexed about what type of surrond to go with. I know it depends on placement, but does anyone have an opinion on whether a direct radiating is better or a bipole to difuse the sound a bit such as with the Klipsch surrounds? I have read good/bad opinions on both. It really makes a difference in which line of speakers I'm going to narrow it down to. Thanks for your thoughts guys.

Blazer:

Get a group of real HT fans together and there are two topics that are guaranteed to start a fight:

1. Speaker cables.

2. Dipole vs. Bipole vs. direct radiating surrounds.

This one one of those things that you have to decide what you like best. My personal favorite is a bi-pole, but we all have our quirks.
