i had the kenwood vr-6050 and i did not like the sound of the receiver, although i should have gotten the vr-6070!! but anyway kenwood makes a good receiver for the money, but their are some better choices out there. plus i can already tell you that you will not like the 3 Active EQ mode and the 3 Speaker EQ mode. they make the sound so dull. But you will like the Circle Surround II modes it has, to me i like it better than DPL II! oh and the 5 DSP listening modes suck a$$ bigtime!!! i know there are 5% of people including me that uses the DSP modes that a receiver offers. If you like DSP modes then i would recommend yamaha for dsp. since the invented them back in 1986. |
