OK the wife is nagging for a Karaoke player but they seem expensive to me and very bad quality so I thought id go about it a different way I got a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro vid card with TV out so I can pump my PC signal through the wall and into my TV however thats only video signal, so I also want to put the sound through the aformentioned reciever I have an SB Live 6.1 card it has SPDif out and I was wondering how could I hook it up im not that well clued up on this sort of thing thats all. BTW I got loads of CDG bins of newsgroups and then downloaded a plugin for the new Winamp 5 that shows the lyrics for the songs and if I use Daemon Tools for a Virtual CD Drive then I dont even have to write a disc! just mount it then play it with winamp and hey presto a Karaoke player that is probably much better wuality sounding than a Standalone player And I can change the midi driver to have different instruments playing :-) Just incase you wondered how i did it thats all
