Please help me ....I had a stereo integrated amplifier
which I sold yesterday just to buy an a/v receiver.
Till now I have the front acuastimass 5 bose cubic speakers
the double ones with a passive sub woofer.
I want to buy one of these receivers.
My first choice is the yamaha RX-V550 or 650
My other options are marantz SR 4500 or
Pioneer VSX-D714 or
Pioneer VSX-D814
I`d like to buy the Yamaha but some friend told me
that the bose speakers don`t drive good with them.Is
it true?
In the future I`d like to buy for the rear and centre
Bose speakers also.
For me 5.1 is good or 6.1 but I don`t need 7.1
Can you help me??Shall I go for the Yamaha? i love yamaha....
Help me as quickly as you can please cos I`m getting
crazy without music !!

Thanks
Twanny

See if you can get a closeout Marantz 5400, it should be around $400-500.

Don't know much about Bose speakers myself except that everyone on audio forums seems to rag all over them, mostly because they're so outrageously ovepriced for the mediocre sound quality they produce.
