I have a koss surround system and I have a comcast cable hd box. I used an optical wire from the box to the receiver and when I watch a tv program the sound has a delay out of the speakers (about 2 sec) I see the talking but the words are delayed. Any help would be great

How important is it to buy a receiever that offers "lip sync"?

Is the problem Mike77 cites a frequent one?

Has lip sync become "must have" technology?
