I have a difficult listening area that I am trying to find speakers for. My Living room is about 10' wide by 20' long. With furniture and everything else, the speakers must sit within 6" of the wall. The listening postion is about 8 feet from the source (speakers fire across the 10 foot width of the room.) I know this can create a lot of problems, so what speakers can I audition that will work well close to a wall. I have a few requirements...

-$1,000 or less on cost
-Can be either floorstanding or bookshelf
-Prefer a soft dome tweeter (in general)
-A speaker that will mate with a NAD C372

Does anyone have experience with a speaker that can be placed against a wall with good results?
