I have narrowed my choices for the main speakers to either new “old stock” Athena S3 or used Paradigm studio 40.v2, or new Axiom M22ti driven by H/K AVR110 receiver.
All three can be had for ~ $400-450. I have been very favorably impressed by Axiom M3ti and Athena F2 (and unimpressed by F1), but have never heard the ones that I am considering.
Looking for the opinions / suggestions on the above three and open to alternative choices within $500 new or less than 5 years old.
Speakers need to be no higher than 24"
Many thanks in advance.

I have the m22ti's. They are comparable in sound quality to the studio 40's, except that the 40's have slightly smoother highs and much deeper bass response. I'm indifferent towards Athena, so I'll not comment on those. I would recommend the 40's if they are in good condition and not too old. I think all three are fine choices for the H/K 110,
