Looking for someone who may have experience or ideas/comments about building inwall speakers. Planning on buying Polk RTi10 (front) and CSi5 (Center), and wondering if building 2-ways surround speakers would make sense sonically and $$$. Quality in-walls are pretty expensive. Thinking that if I could find speakers that timber match the Polk's, I could be saving a substantial amount of money, especially if I end up building 4 of them (2 surrounds and 2 surrounds back).

I do understand that the sound quality would not match the FXi3 or FXi5. Just exploring this idea ...

Thoughts, plans or references anyone ?
Thanks !!

I'd go with the Fxi5, perfect match all around, plus bi-pole/di-pole is preferrable to a direct firing in-wall speaker.
