Thread: Athena Micra 6, Klipsch Quintets, or Orb Audio Mod 1? |

To all the audio gurus out there, which of these HT speaker systems would be best as a starter system in a medium to large room with a warm receiver? Athena Micra 6, Klipsch Quintets, or Orb Audio Mod 1? All are pretty close in price I've heard the Athenas and Klipsch at different points in time (about 3 months separation), I remember that both sounded good, but I could not make any direct comparisons. What do you folks think? Thanks! |

Orb has a much better sub, and the satellites are upgradeable if you are using it as a starter system. So you can upgrade the speakers later if you want. That's a pretty cool feature. |

I'm researching similar options myself and was wondering, is there any way to hear the Orbs somewhere? Other than buying, installing, and hoping for the best? |

Particularly since the Orbs are about $300 more than the Athenas in my area. |
