Hi guys - I'm looking to upgrade my cd player and change my speakers. due to a house move the kelly's have to go, they're just too big and the mf dvd-1 just aint good enough for music. I'm going to have to go second hand due to cost and have about £1000 to spend. soundstage, detail and imaging are most important to me and I'm not so bothered about bum-rumbling bass. my reference is the new cyrus cd8 x and monitor audio gr10 stand mount speakers - can anything out there, second hand stand up to this awsome gear? please help! -charlie
