The new Denon 3803 is an incredible value at any price except for missing the THX certs. If I am going to buy a new receiver and don't need the very few extra watts per channel, why not get the 3803 instead of the aging 4802. It seems to be a newer more feature laden receiver than any but the 5803. I dont care so much about the price diff. but want the best receiver under $2000.Until the 4803 is released, isn't the 3803 the best receiver aside from the 5803?

I do not have any experience with the 3803. I tried a 4802 and could not find anything good to say about it except that it had a great remote.

I traded for the Integra 8.3. It is better in every way.
