Hello all,
I have an older Sony stereo system (from the mid '80's). Everything works except the tuner. Sony did not have the original part to fix it (transmitter, I think). I took it to a shop that put in a non-sony part. Well it worked for a couple of days and then, $150 later stopped working.
So, even though the tuner lights up, doesn't let me know what station I'm on. Also, only 1 speaker works and I think it has something to do with the tuner.
So should I chuck my whole system since I can't seem to find the part I need? Or where could I look to find the part?
Pardon my lack of technical knowledge.
