I receive poor radio signal (FM and AM) on my shelf system. I only get a handful of FM stations and no AM stations. The antenna that came with the unit doesn't help. A friend mentioned that you can some how hook TV cable into a stereo to boost signal.

Any suggestions??

Thanks,

Eric

Are you trying to hook up cable TV feed or the cable from your TV antenna? What type of connectors are on the back of your system to accept an external antenna?

Use an external antenna. If the signal is weak, a booster will often solve the problem.
